How to find the rock carvings at Skavberg

Drive out of the City of Tromsø, passing the airport and the bridge to Kvaløya.

Continue south on route 862 to Eidkjosen, then turn on to route 858 along the sheltered inner waterways to the popular fishing and picnic place, Hella.

Close by are the rock carvings at Skavberg and the historical farm at Straumen.
