What to wear in winter

You will freeze a lot less than you think. However, the right winter wear will help to keep you warm. Wear solid boots and woollen underwear, and cover up your hands and head. See our Arctic Chic list.
Troms is a good place to buy winter wear. Due to high demand, selection is often bigger and prices more competitive. Survival suits are usually included in outdoor activities such as snowmobiling and dog sledding.
Don’t stay indoors for a long time with outdoor clothing on as it will be very cold when you go outside.
Do not wear shoes in private homes, you’ll never be invited again!
